Our natural food is based on a minimum of 75% raw meat. We use only human consumption grade chicken. Canine nutritionists agree that the short life cycle of a chicken produces the healthiest source of meat available. Studies have found longer life cycled animals such as cows, allow hormones and steroids to build in the liver, organs and meat.

We use only raw meat to ensure the proper balance of moisture in the stomach lining. This prevents dogs from gorging themselves with water to aid in digesting their food. Using only raw meat insures that all the nutrients are not cooked out of the food during preparation.

Nutritionists recommend a minimum of 75% meat as well as grains and vegetables following the natural omnivorous habits of the dog. Our natural food includes a minimum 10% cooked rolled oats. Omnivores consider the stomach and organs a delicacy. The stomach of wild canids natural prey (such as deer and goats) contains half digested grain.

Our natural food includes a minimum of 14% raw vegetables. Raw vegetables are essential to all omnivores for a healthy balanced diet. Only fresh vegetables fit for human consumption are used. There are no chemicals added to preserve "CHOW FOR NOW" which is frozen leaving all our ingredients naturally fresh.

We recommend "CHOW FOR NOW" be fed in its brick form. This cleans the teeth and allows a more natural position for digestion (laying down and chewing at the block).
